I have to say the Tore step over and cross was Excellent, although he was pretty pants he was being played along with Antonio on their weaker sides.

I enjoyed the train journey home this season!
I think the players need to get used to it as do the fans. It was my first time and I was generally impressed. Bit upset that you cant get near the players for autographs anymore. I liked that about Upton Park but I guess that is progression for you!

There's going to be a lot of disagreement on here about Nordtveit. From the look of it so far a lot of his work will be done through diligence off the ball, so a lot of people are going to say he's anonymous in games.

I thought nordvelt started poorly.
A few times he had the ball and didn't know what to do with it.
Hoofed it a couple of times, in one play, he rolled it to noble who was three feet away, and put noble in trouble.
Then for about 10 mins he started making all these sublime passes.
He did win the ball back a few times though.

6 of our strongest 11 not playing ill take those 3 points all day long. Not great but if we dont get nothing out of City away on sunday then those points are vital.

All 4 stood out for me with solid performances, Tore will get match fit and annoy a lot of midfields and defenders which in turn will lead to bookings (them) and free-kicks (us) around the box.
Antonio deserved MotM but I would have been happy if any of the above got it.
Quality save by Adrian in the first half tipping over the bar too.

What Antonio was very good at yesterday and generally is shielding the ball and holding it up with his back to the opposition. Howe told them to be much tighter on him second half as a result but still his strength and low centre of gravity made it hard even for their man mountain centre back to get the ball off him if he received it back to goal.
Worth a chance as a central attacker as an experiment? Right wing is probably where he is most comfortable and effective but if we need cover in attack and someone to receive it and hold it he is an option provided of course that the ball is hit chest height and not those Collins and Reid lumps into orbit :-)

First half particularly Kouyate was fantastic.
Dominated the midfield
Thought everyone stood up to cover the fact that our 4 main creative routes to goal (Payet Lanzini Ayew Feghouli) and our main striker weren't playing.
It's the equivalent of Barcelona without Messi Neymar Suarez Iniesta & Rakitic.

Kouyate the best player on the pitch by some distance.
Byram really impressed me too - nice to have an actual RB playing there.

Antonio isn't thick, he's just uncomfortable in front of a mic.
As for his football yesterday, he was terrible; his attempted header at goal, his mid connection when the ball was played into the box, his attempted dribbles when he ran the ball out.
BUT he scored the winner , and I love him. He is a confidence player, and I now hope he goes on an a run like he did last year.

The roar when that goal went in must have been something. I couldn't hear it at the time, as I was much louder than my TV, but Antonio mentioned it in his interview.
